Baradwaj Raman

Baradwaj Raman is a Carnatic vainika and grand-nephew of Padma Bhushan Dr. S. Balachander. A disciple of Smt. Padmavathy Ananthagopalan and currently training under Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Sanjay Subrahmanyan, he is known for reviving the intense 'SB style' of veena playing with its characteristic long-phrase modulations. He has performed at premier sabhas including the Music Academy, Narada Gana Sabha, and Indian Fine Arts Society.
