Sirkazhi G. Sivachidambaram

Sirkazhi G. Sivachidambaram (born 1959) is a renowned Carnatic and devotional vocalist, the son of Padma Shri legend Sirkazhi Govindarajan, and a principal disciple of Sangeetha Vidwan Prof. B. Krishnamurthy. A physician by profession and alumnus of Madras Medical College, he has blended Tamilisai traditions and bhajans with classical rigour throughout his career. He has received the Padma Shri (2019), Kalaimamani, and the title 'Isai Peraringar' from Tamil Isai Sangam.
