Sumana Chandrashekar

Sumana Chandrashekar is a Carnatic ghatam artist from Chennai, one of the rare female performers of this percussion instrument in the South Indian classical tradition. She has performed at music events and sabhas in Chennai and is known for her technical facility and musicality on the ghatam. She is a pioneering presence in the Chennai Carnatic percussion community.
