A Amit Nadig is an A grade Carnatic flute artist empanelled with Akashvani (All India Radio) Bengaluru, on its rolls since 2006. A leading Carnatic flautist, he is the son and disciple of flautist Vidwan B.K. Anantharam and trained for nearly two decades under Padma Bhushan Dr. R.K. Srikantan in the gayaki style. One of the youngest 'A' grade AIR artists, he received the Sangeet Natak Akademi's Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar (2020) for Carnatic flute. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
