Abhijith Shenoy K

Dr. Abhijith Shenoy K (born Kerki) is an eminent Indian Hindustani classical vocalist, researcher, and composer based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Formally initiated into music by his grandparents and parents, he has undergone rigorous training in the Gwalior Gharana tradition under Pt. D. B. Harindra for over three decades, along with guidance from Pt. Ramchandra Janthalli and Thumri exponent Smt. Aditi Upadhya Kaikini. He holds a Sangeet Alankar from ABGMV, Mumbai, and completed his PhD research on "Voice Culture" from Jain University in August 2026. An accomplished vaggeyakara, he has composed over 280 traditional bandishes under his mudra "Abhirang" and published a dedicated compendium of his musical notations. In addition to commercial classical albums like Ninaad released under Lahari Recording Company, he serves as a graded classical artist for Akashvani (All India Radio) since 2011, handles global training academies, and presides over the Ninaad Sangeet Sagar Foundation
