A.D. Sunaad

A.D. Sunaad (Sunaad Anoor) is an A grade Carnatic kanjira artist empanelled with Akashvani (All India Radio) Bengaluru, on its rolls since 2020. Born into a five-generation Bengaluru family of musicians, he is a son and disciple of percussionist Anoor Dattatreya Sharma and won first place for kanjira at the AIR national-level competition in 2012. He has received honours including an ITC Sangeet Research Academy award, the T.A. Harihara Award of Krishna Gana Sabha (Chennai) and the Raga Laya Prabha Award, and has accompanied leading musicians in over a thousand concerts in India and abroad. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
