Bharathi Prathap

Bharathi Prathap is an A grade Kannada vachana artist empanelled with Akashvani (All India Radio) Bengaluru, on its rolls since 2008. Born and raised in Bengaluru, she was introduced to Carnatic music as a child and went on to specialise in Hindustani classical music of the Agra-Atrauli gharana under Lalith J. Rao (with earlier training from Maruti Rao Inamdar and Rama Rao V. Naikou), also performing bhavageete and vachana. She is a graded artist of AIR and Doordarshan. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
