Chaitanya Shankar Bhat

Chaitanya Shankar Bhat is an accomplished Indian Hindustani classical vocalist and acoustical engineer based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Demonstrating a strong musical inclination from early childhood, he began rigorous formal training at the age of eleven under Pandit Parameshwar Hegde, the premier disciple of the legendary maestro Pandit Basavaraj Rajguru. Under this mentorship, he mastered the intricacies of Khayal Gayaki across the Kirana, Gwalior, and Patiala gharana traditions. He is an empanelled B-High grade vocal artist with Akashvani (All India Radio), Bengaluru. Alongside prominent concert recitals at elite venues like the Mysore Palace Dasara Mahotsav, he holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, successfully integrating his classical passion with a career in noise control and vibration acoustics
