Dilip Kale

Dilip Kale is a Mumbai-based santoor performer and senior disciple of Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, who accepted him as a shishya in 1985, and is also trained in harmonium and tabla. He is among the few santoor players to have mastered a chromatic style of rendering that enables film work, and over three decades has presented Indian classical and light-classical music in solo and jugalbandi settings at national and international festivals, including performances alongside his guru.
