Hiranmayi S Kulkarni

Kumari Hiranmayee S. is a highly promising young Indian Hindustani classical vocalist based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Born into a family of music aficionados, she began her foundational training at the age of eight under her mother, Smt. Padma Adiga. For over fifteen years, she has received intensive guardianship (Talim) under the renowned maestro Ustad Faiyaz Khan in Bengaluru, alongside five years of comprehensive training as a scholar under Shri Arshad Ali Khan at the prestigious ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata. A recipient of the elite National Scholarship for Young Artists from the Centre for Cultural Research and Training (CCRT, Government of India) and the Karnataka Sangeeta Nritya Academy in 2019, her precision and technical range earned her three distinct prizes at the All India Radio (AIR) National Level Music Competition in 2014. She is officially empanelled on the station rolls of Akashvani Bengaluru as a B grade classical artist across Hindustani Vocal, Bhajans, and Thumri segments, frequently staging highly acclaimed recitals across cultural assemblies in Dharwad, Mumbai, Udupi, and Kolkata
