H.K. Venkatram (HKV) is one of India's most accomplished Carnatic violinists, trained from age eight by his father and guru, Sangita Kalaratna Professor H.V. Krishnamurthy. He has accompanied legends such as Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, D.K. Pattammal, and M.L. Vasanthakumari, and received the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (2023) for his contribution to Carnatic violin, presented by President Droupadi Murmu. He holds the title "Ganakala Shree" from the Karnataka Gana Kala Parishath (2004) and is the founder of Vijaya College of Music in Bengaluru through his Prathyarpana Foundation. Beyond music, he has had a distinguished 30-year career as a Senior Director at Intel Corporation.
