H.N. Bhaskar

H.N. Bhaskar (born 4 September 1976, Mysore) is an acclaimed Carnatic violinist who began his musical journey under the guidance of his parents Shri H.N. Narasimha Murthy and Shrimati H.N. Rajalakshmi, and later trained under Shri M.S. Gopalakrishnan and Shri R.N. Thyagarajan. He is an A-grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan and has received the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar (2011) from the Sangeet Natak Akademi. Bhaskar has performed alongside luminaries such as T.V. Sankaranarayanan, Bombay Jayashri Ramnath, and Ranjani-Gayatri, and has graced prestigious festivals across India and abroad. He is also honoured with the Best Violinist Award from the Music Academy, Chennai.
