H.R. Leelavathi

H.R. Leelavathi is an A grade Carnatic devaranama (devotional) artist empanelled with Akashvani (All India Radio) Bengaluru, on its rolls since 1995, and also holds A grade in Kannada bhavageethe (light music). Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, she is a veteran Sugama Sangeetha (Kannada light music) singer of more than four decades and a well-known Doordarshan and Akashvani artiste. She received the K.S. Narasimhaswamy Kavya Gayana Prashasti in 2020 and is regarded as one of the leading names of the Sugama Sangeetha field.
