Kruthi Bhat

Kruthi Bhat is an accomplished Carnatic vocalist and multi-instrumentalist trained in Carnatic and Western violin, initiated into music by her grandmother and rigorously trained by her mother Vidushi Rajarajeshwary Bhat and uncle Vidwan Vittal Ramamurthy, with the privilege of learning from Padmabhushan Lalgudi G. Jayaraman and Sri T.R. Subramanyan. A graded All India Radio artist, she is the recipient of the Best Female Vocalist Award from the Madras Music Academy (Spirit of Youth series) and has been titled "Kala Ratna" by Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana Committee and "Isai Chudar" by Karthik Fine Arts, Chennai. She has given multiple concerts in India and the United States and is also a practitioner of Bharatanatyam and Pastel Art.
