Parameshwara Hegde

Parameshwara Hegde is an A grade Hindustani khayal vocal artist empanelled with Akashvani (All India Radio) Bengaluru, on its rolls since 1995. Pandit Parameshwar Hegde (b. 6 May 1956, Uttara Kannada) sings in the Kirana, Gwalior and Patiala gharana traditions, having begun training under his father and later undergone advanced study at Dharwad under Pandit Basavaraj Rajguru. He has been based in Bengaluru as a performer and guru for several decades and runs the Parameshwar Hegde Music Academy. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
