Prakash Hegde

Prakash Hegde is an A grade Hindustani bansuri artist empanelled with Akashvani (All India Radio) Bengaluru, on its rolls since 2018. Hailing from Kallaremane, a village in Siddapur Taluk of Uttara Kannada district, Karnataka, he received his early flute training from Vidwan Prabhakar Bhat and later studied under the noted flutist Pandit Venkatesh Godkhindi, with further guidance from the internationally acclaimed Pandit Raghunath Seth. Recognised across Karnataka as both a solo flutist and an accompanist in classical and light-music concerts, he has also shared a First Prize in a national-level instrumental music competition. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
