Prasad Khaparde

Prasad Khaparde, born in 1973 in Ghatanji, Maharashtra, is a senior disciple of the late Ustad Rashid Khan of the Rampur-Sahaswan gharana. Before joining the ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata as a scholar, he trained in the Gwalior gharana under Shri Bhalerao, Pt. D.V. Panke and Pandita Sumantai Choudhari. He is an All India Radio A-grade and ICCR-empanelled artist who holds an MA in Music, and has performed at festivals including Sawai Gandharva and Surashree Kesarbai.
