Vidyadhar Vyas

Vidyadhar Vyas (born 1944) is a leading exponent of the Gwalior Gharana in the Paluskar tradition, as well as a scholar-performer and musicologist, and a recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (2007). He has served as Head of the Music Department at the University of Mumbai, Vice-Chancellor of the Bhatkhande Music Institute University in Lucknow, and Executive Director of the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Kolkata, and has trained many upcoming artists.
