Pushpa Kashinath

Pushpa Kashinath is an A grade Carnatic veena artist empanelled with Akashvani (All India Radio) Bengaluru, on its rolls since 2005. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, she hails from a family of musicians, her father being violinist Sri B. Vishwanath and her father-in-law the late violinist Sri A. Veerabhadraiah of Aruna Musicals. She had her initial veena training under Smt. T. Sharada and later under the late Sri Anoor S. Ramakrishna, and has performed across India and the USA while being regularly featured on All India Radio and television; her honours include an award from the Government of Karnataka and the Ananya Puraskar from the Ananya Academy of Arts.
