Radhika Hegde Balehadda

Radhika Hegde Balehadda (professionally active under her marital identity Radhika Sudarshan) is a highly proficient Indian Hindustani classical vocalist and broadcast performance artist based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Formally trained under elite traditional lineages, her classical gayaki combines expansive raga structures with intricate melodic layouts. She was initially empanelled on the station registers of Akashvani (All India Radio) Dharwad on October 15, 2013, as a B-High grade Hindustani vocal artist, and her profile was officially transferred to Akashvani Bengaluru on September 16, 2019. Highly sought after for her versatility, her elite empanelment with Prasar Bharati covers both Hindustani Classical Khayal music and the specialized devotional segment of Hindi Bhajans. She has recently been formally elevated to a highly prestigious 'A' Grade Artist ranking by All India Radio.
