Rahul Deshpande

Hindustani classical vocalist, composer and actor from Pune, grandson of the legendary Pandit Vasantrao Deshpande. His repertoire spans khayal, natyasangeet, thumri, tappa, abhanga, bhajan and bhavgeet. He won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer (68th National Film Awards) for the Marathi film 'Me Vasantrao' (2022), in which he also played the lead. He curates the annual Vasantotsav music festival in Pune.
