Rahul Vellal

Rahul Vellal is a Carnatic prodigy vocalist from Bengaluru, Karnataka, who began learning Carnatic music at age four and has performed in over ten countries including the USA, UAE, Singapore, South Africa, UK, and Australia. He trains in Carnatic vocal under Vidushis Ranjani and Gayatri, in mridangam under Vidwan Kulur U. Jayachandra Rao, and in Western piano under the Trinity School of Music, London. He has won the Global Child Prodigy Award 2020 in the Singing category and received the Shanmukhananda M.S. Subbulakshmi Fellowship in 2018 presented by the Vice President of India. He has also lent his voice to Disney's The Lion King (Telugu Edition, 2019).
