Ranjan Kumar Beura

Ranjan Kumar Beura is an A grade Hindustani violin artist empanelled with Akashvani (All India Radio) Bengaluru, on its rolls since 2019, and based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Originally from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, he began learning music at the age of five, trained under Pandit Sunil Singh Mahant and Smt. Bhubaneswari Mishra, and received advanced training from Padma Bhushan Dr. N. Rajam. He completed his graduation and post-graduation in Hindustani classical violin at the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Bhubaneswar, and plays principally in the Kirana gharana style while also being versatile across Carnatic, jazz, blues and fusion idioms.
