S. Aishwarya

S. Aishwarya (born 27 October 1995, Chennai) is a distinguished Carnatic vocalist and great-granddaughter of Bharat Ratna M.S. Subbulakshmi, whose legendary legacy she carries forward with grace and authenticity. Her initiation into Carnatic music took place on Vijayadashami 1999 when M.S. Subbulakshmi herself guided her first lesson, and she has since trained for nearly two decades under Karnataka Kalashree Smt. Jambu Kannan. She gave her first public concert in 2007 at age eleven, coinciding with the 91st birth anniversary of M.S. Subbulakshmi. A regular performer in the Madras December Music Season, she frequently collaborates with her twin sister S. Saundarya in celebrated duo recitals.
