    Vidushi Sanhita Nandi is an internationally acclaimed Indian Hindustani classical vocalist and premier maestro of the Kirana Gharana. Originally from Kolkata, West Bengal, she received her rigorous foundational training at the prestigious ITC Sangeet Research Academy under the late veteran maestro Pandit A. Kanan. To deeply refine her artistic horizons, she spent several years under the tutelage of Pandit Vinayak Torvi in Bengaluru, subsequently entering advanced mastery training under the legendary doting guru Ustad Mashkoor Ali Khan. Widely praised for her pitch precision, microtonal nuances, and systematic long-form Merukhand slow-tempo raga expansions, she has delivered soul-stirring recitals at elite venues globally including the Sawai Gandharva Sangeet Sammelan, Tansen Sangeet Samaroh, and Saptak. Notably, her debut cinematic playback recording was shortlisted for the 88th Academy Awards (Oscars) under the Original Song category. She acts as an established graded artist for All India Radio and divides her time operating between India and the United States
