Pandit Shivanand Heroor is an acclaimed Hindustani classical vocalist, musicologist, and senior educator based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He received intensive, traditional training under the Guru-Shishya parampara for over nine years from the legendary maestro Ubhaya Gana Visharad Dr. Pt. Puttaraja Gawai of Gadag. Achieving academic and performance excellence with a distinction in the prestigious Vidwat Examination, Pt. Shivanand Heroor is an officially empanelled B-High Grade artist with Akashvani (All India Radio). Known for his profound mastery over Hindustani classical khayals, light classical taranas, and soul-stirring devotional bhajans, he has been honored with accolades such as the Puttaraj Award and Sangeeta Ratna Award. Alongside an active concert profile spanning major national platforms, he remains deeply committed to mentoring music enthusiasts for over 15 years.
