Sivasri Skandaprasad

Sivasri Skandaprasad is a multifaceted Carnatic vocalist, Bharatanatyam dancer, playback singer, and art activist based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She began her artistic journey at the age of three, training in Carnatic music under Guru Sri A.S. Murali and in Bharatanatyam under distinguished gurus. She holds a degree in bioengineering from SASTRA University and a Master's in Bharatanatyam from the University of Madras. She sang playback for A.R. Rahman's compositions in Ponniyin Selvan 1 and 2, and performs regularly at prestigious sabhas including the Music Academy and Narada Gana Sabha in Chennai. She is also the founder of Ahuti, an online community supporting traditional arts in India.
