Subhalakshmi Krishnamoorthy

Subhalakshmi Krishnamoorthy is a Carnatic vocalist based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, who began learning music at the age of five. She trained under Guru Valliammal of Trivandrum, Late Chertalai Shri R. Gopalan Nair, Smt. Gomathi Chidambaram, and has been a long-time disciple of Ganakalasree Vidushi M.S. Sheela. She has released 12 solo audio albums in Sanskrit, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam, and has performed in over 150 concerts at sabhas, temples, and festivals across India and abroad. A Senior Scientist at ISRO Bangalore and recipient of the National Merit Scholarship for six years, she exemplifies excellence in both science and the arts.
