    Sugnan Dani is a highly versatile Indian Hindustani classical musician, researcher, and composer based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Raised under the direct mentorship of his mother, Vidushi Shashikala Dani—one of India's few prominent female Jaltarang exponents—he began playing music at the age of four and gave his first public stage recital at nine. He holds a Sangeet Visharad and a Master's degree in Music from the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai, and is currently pursuing his PhD (Senior Research Fellow) in Music. Formally trained across different lineages by maestros including Smt. Kamal Purandare, Shri Shrikant Kulkarni, Pt. Chandrashekhar Puranikmath, and doyen Pt. Vinayak Torvi (Gwalior-Kirana Gharana), his expertise spans Hindustani classical, light-classical, devotional, and folk styles. Academically an Electronics & Communication Engineer, he balances his scientific background with musical arts as the Founder Secretary and Musician at Swara Naada Sangeeta Vidyalaya®. Sugnan is an empanelled B-High Grade artist for both Jaltarang and Vocal Music with Akashvani (All India Radio)
