Tejas R Katoti

Tejas R Katoti is a highly distinguished Indian Hindustani classical harmonium virtuoso and academic lecturer based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He began his musical education under the initial guidance of the legendary harmonium doyen Pandit Rambhau Bijapure and subsequently entered the advanced discipleship of his father, the celebrated harmonium maestro Dr. Ravindra Gururaj Katoti. A highly decorated young musician, he was awarded the prestigious national CCRT Scholarship by the Ministry of Culture from 2019 to 2021. Academically accomplished, he earned his bachelor's degree from the College of Fine Arts, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad, followed by a master's degree from the School of Performing Arts at Bharati Vidyapeeth. Although previously designated as a B-High grade performer, he has been officially elevated to an 'A' Grade Artist ranking by Prasar Bharati (Akashvani / All India Radio). He frequently accompanies leading vocalists across India, performs at elite venues like the Bangalore International Centre, and serves as a Lecturer at PES University, Bengaluru.
