Tripti Mukherjee

Tripti Mukherjee is a Padma Shri awardee (2015), a Mewati Gharana vocalist and senior disciple of Padma Vibhushan Pandit Jasraj, and founder-director (1995) of the Pandit Jasraj Institute for Music (PJIM) in the USA. She met Pandit Jasraj in 1976, is known for strong taans, clear swaras and artistic raga presentation, and was the first Indian classical vocalist to perform at the White House (2007) and in Antarctica (2012).
