V R Shakthidhar

Shakthidhar V R is a highly versatile Indian Hindustani classical flautist, world music performer, and educator based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He received intensive training in the classical traditions of the North Indian bansuri under the guidance of acclaimed maestro Pandit Rajendra Prasanna. Known for his deep cross-genre adaptability, he operates seamlessly across Hindustani classical frameworks, global world music collaborations, theatre productions for the National School of Drama, and digital audio consultancies for international sampling systems like Swarsystems. He is an empanelled B-High grade Hindustani Bansuri artist on the broadcasting rolls of Akashvani (All India Radio), Bengaluru since April 10, 2019. Alongside active international performance tours, he runs a prominent digital pedagogy ecosystem through his Online Bansuri Academy.
