Vani Sateesh

Vani Sateesh is an A grade Carnatic vocal artist empanelled with Akashvani (All India Radio) Bengaluru, on its rolls since 1997. She also holds A grade in Carnatic devaranama (devotional) and B-High grade in Kannada bhavageethe (light music). Born in Bengaluru into the musical Bellary family, she trained under her uncle Bellary M. Sheshagiri Achar, her father Bellary M. Venkateshachar and her brother Bellary M. Raghavendra, and later under Padma Bhushan P.S. Narayanaswamy; she is an AIR National Award winner and recipient of the National Scholarship for young artists. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
