Vinay Varanasi

Vinay Varanasi is a Bengaluru-based Carnatic musician, storyteller, and cultural artist known for his innovative blend of Indian mythology, classical music, and visual art. Trained in the veena under Smt. Kashi Vishalakshi, he collaborates with musicians to develop thematic content and lyrics for classical music presentations. He works in a duo format with vocalist Vivek Sadasivam, creating unique narrative-musical experiences that make Carnatic music accessible to contemporary audiences. With a background in architecture and design research, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to the promotion of classical Indian arts.
