About
Sundarayya Vignana Kendram is a renowned cultural and research centre in Hyderabad, established in 1988 in memory of late Puchalapalli Sundarayya, a freedom fighter and leader of the Left movement in India. The centre's primary objective is the conservation of India's cultural heritage. It houses a multilingual research library with over four lakh books in Telugu, Urdu, and English, covering 19th and 20th century literature. The venue hosts seminars, art galleries, college festivals, corporate programmes, and large-scale community events. It operates from two locations — Bagh Lingampally (the original) and Gachibowli. The seminar hall accommodates up to 450 guests and is well-suited for cultural, academic, and social events.
